Meet Ziggy Man. He is an 8-year-old brown tabby. Ziggy Man came to the shelter when his family could no longer care for him. Now, he is ready to find the perfect family that will give him the life he has always dreamed of. Ziggy Man has lived with other cats before but doesn’t enjoy them. He would be most comfortable being the only cat in the house. Ziggy Man is a sweetheart. He loves to snuggle on a rainy day. If you think you have the perfect home for Ziggy Man, visit the Humane Society for Southwest Washington to inquire about him.

Meet Trinity, a 7-year-old Rottweiler mix that came to the shelter as a stray. Trinity is a sweet, older gal, but don’t let her age fool you; she still has spunk and loves to play fetch. She also knows her obedience commands and walks well on a leash. If you are interested in a “been there, done that” kind of dog with the energy to join you on outdoor activities, visit the Humane Society to meet Trinity.

These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
