Salmon Creek — A team of students from the professional sales program at Washington State University Vancouver took second place in the 2011 Western States Collegiate Sales Competition on April 16 in Chico, Calif.
Yan Doroshkin, Samantha Goelze, Veronika Ovdiyenko and John Won made up the Vancouver team. Yan Doroshkin won first place for the individual competition, as well. This was the first time the college has taken part in the competition.
