Bella Vista — It all started back in 1999, when neighbors in Bella Vista planted rose bushes and purchased an iron gazebo trellis for a rose garden in the 5-acre city park in their neighborhood.
It was one of the first parks funded by the Legacy Parks program. The rose garden has been a symbol of neighborhood pride since.
Volunteers have added 400 tulips and will add other flowers throughout the year. Teams take two-week assignments to weed and care for garden.
