The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In March, the Medical Commission modified the agreed order against physician Patrick K. Chau. He must comply with terms and conditions set against his license.
In March, the Nursing Assistant and Health Care Assistant programs charged certified nursing assistant Mindy R. Garcia with unprofessional conduct. She allegedly admitted to using cocaine and cannabis, and tested positive for cannabis during a urinalysis.
