Ridgefield — Does someone in your family own a bicycle? The Ridgefield Police Department offers free bicycle registration and an ID tag for your bike, which would help officers identify the owner and immediately return the bicycle in case of theft or loss.

If a bicycle is turned in to the department with no identifying information, a photo is posted on the front door of the police department, and at the schools, library, and post office. A description is also posted on Craigslist.com. If you know someone who has misplaced a bicycle recently you can check with the police department at 360-887-3556.
