‘Man cave’ makes a lad happy

Salmon Creek — All he wanted was a “man cave.” And thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings and volunteers from the community, Matthew Pozsgai got his wish.

Because of his cystic fibrosis, Pozsgai, 16, qualified for a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Twenty-five friends, volunteers, family and Wild Wings employees set up his room to mimic the theme of the restaurant, including a pinball machine, soda bar and sports memorabilia.

His mom, Mary Pozsgai, said the “man cave” is a place for him just to be 16 and to escape the daily struggles with his lung disease.

What did he say — more than once — when his wish was delivered? “Whoa.”
