Sarah is a 10-year-old yellow Labrador that was a stray. Don’t let her hair loss deter you. It has greatly improved since she’s been here and in foster care. Sarah knows basic commands and loves to play outside. She would rather be in a home without cats.
C.J. is a 10-year-old brown female tabby that came to the shelter when her family could no longer care for her. C.J is very shy but amazingly sweet. She would appreciate an adults-only home, but in foster care we have learned that she does not mind other cats or dogs.
These pets are among those available for adoption noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. Fees vary. Call 360-693-4746.
