Ridgefield 31, White Salmon 0
The Spudders turned out a complete-game effort in shutting out the Bruins of White Salmon.
Dylan Young rushed 21 times for 145 yards, Juan Valencia scored the Spudders first two touchdowns of the game, and Zack Gales threw two TD passes.
And the Spudders were solid on the other side of the ball as well.
“It was a fantastic defensive effort for what I thought was a pretty good White Salmon team with good offensive threats,” Ridgefield coach Kitt Rawlings said.
Sophomore defensive tackle Seth Williams had seven tackles, one sack and three pressures. Michael Groat and Clay Barton were also solid on defense for Ridgefield.
Rawlings also said special teams played a big part in the victory.
