Prep football Week 3: Union vs. Westview

The Columbian
Published: September 16, 2010, 12:00am

When, where: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Westview HS, Beaverton, Ore.

Records: Union (1-1), Westview (1-1); non-league game.

Game notes: Union got the offense moving last week after struggling against top-ranked Bellevue. … Brandon Brody-Heim has rushed for 216 yards in two games. … QB Kaben Humphrey-Butler passed for 116 yards and ran for another 59 in his first start for Union. … Westview converted two turnovers into TDs in a 20-13 win over Grant in Week 1. … Westview lost to Lake Oswego last week. QB Phil Belding ran for two TDs and passed for 104 yards. … Westview will be challenged by the Titans’ defense. Union held Enumclaw to 51 yards of offense in the first half last week.

The Columbian’s take: Playing teams across the river in Oregon bring a bit of the unknown with it. But Union’s defense will keep them in any game. And the Titans offense is starting to roll. Pick: Union
