Team outlook: A solid nucleus of seniors and a year of experience in coach Kitt Rawlings program have the Spudders anticipating much improved results in 2010. James Oman, one of the team’s leaders, said he’s seen improved technique, aggressiveness and morale this season. One thing the Spudders aren’t counting on is less competition with their drop from Class 2A to 1A. Last season, Ridgefield was 1-2 against 1A Trico schools.
