Fort Vancouver Trappers

2009 record: 2-7, 0-5 GSHL

Coach: Cal Szueber

Key players: Patrick Crawford, sr., ol/dl; Flynn Crawford, jr., ol/dl; Vutha Chen, sr., ol/dl; Stockton Pendergrast, sr., ol/dl; Abdul Conteh, jr., rb; Jai Girod, jr., lb; Jordan Vela, jr., rb/db; Taylor Richey, jr., rb/lb; Isaac Rodriguez, so., ol/lb; Robbie Cayce, sr., wr/dl; Richard Vansiclen, sr., qb/db.

Team outlook: Now in his fourth season, Szueber predicts this team will be his highest scoring squad at Fort Vancouver. The offense certainly is experienced, with four on the offensive line starting for the third consecutive season. Plus, quarterback Richard Vansiclen is back. The Trappers, a double-wing team, also are looking to add a few tricks to the offense, possibly to open up the passing game.
