The Lumberjacks pulled away with three straight touchdowns in the second half, breaking open a game that was tied 15-15 at halftime.
Shawn Brown rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns on five carries for R.A. Long. He ran for a 35-yard score on the first varsity carry of his career.
After Brown opened the scoring, Washougal tied the game with a 2-yard run by Sam O’Hara. When the Lumberjacks added another touchdown in the second quarter, Washougal answered with a 2-yard run by Aleksander Arzhanov.
O’Hara finished with 55 yards rushing and 94 yards receiving. Washougal quarterback Colton Sullivan finished 10 of 15 for 136 yards.
