Kentwood 57, Heritage 14
Kentwood rushed for 357 yards and scored on a fumble return and a blocked punt to advance to the Class 4A state playoffs.
The Conquerors led 14-0 after one quarter, then extended that lead to 28-0 in the second quarter on a 26-yard fumble return for a score and a 20-yard blocked punt return for TD.
Mikell Everett rushed 14 times for 163 yards and two touchdowns for Kentwood (10-0).
Jake Dahlberg started for Heritage, but aggravated an ankle injury sustained in last week’s win over Evergreen. Riley O’Dell relieved Dahlberg and had a 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Michael Rivers added a 3-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.
