Timberline notes: The Blazers dropped their first two games — including a 29-15 decision to Camas at Qwest Field — before winning five in a row. … In the last two weeks, Timberline has lost to second-ranked Capital 44-0 and then beat winless Foss 62-0. … QB Kevin Russell has passed for 1,421 yards and 13 TDs, but he also has 12 INTs. … WR Charles MacNeil is Russell’s No. 1 target with 49 catches for 522 yards and 6 TDs. … Russell also run for 416 yards and is one of four players to rush for better than 393 yards. … In Week 2, Timberline gave up 310 rushing yards to North Thurston’s Lawyer Tillman.

Mountain View notes: This is the Thunder’s first postseason berth since 2006. … Mountain View enters this game on a four-game winning streak. … The Thunder have not allowed an opponent to score more than 10 points in the last five games. … Mountain View has scored 56 points or more in three of its last four games. … RB PJ Jones has rushed for 1,038 yards and 13 TDs, despite missing the better part of two games to injury. … Jones rushed for 191 yards on nine carries and score four TDs in a 61-6 win over Columbia River last week … Sterling Reynolds rushed for 161 yards and two TDs on 11 carries last week. … Jeff Carmody is also a big rushing threat out of the backfield.
