Larson, 1½ is a black and white domestic short hair. Since he was a stray, we do not know much about his past. From what we have seen from his stay here, he has been nothing but a good boy who loves attention. We think that he will do well in any loving home. If you think you have a home for him, ask how to adopt him today.

Cajun, 5, is a bluetick coonhound mix on the hunt for his forever home. He will need to have a fenced yard since he likes to run and sniff new scents. For a hound, Cajun is a pretty mellow guy and would love to go home today.

These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
