A Yacolt motorcyclist was listed in satisfactory condition at Southwest Washington Medical Center on Thursday night after a collision with a pickup on state Highway 503 at Northeast 389th Street, just south of Amboy.

Jason Isham, 29, had been riding a motorcycle north about 4:10 p.m. Thursday when a southbound pickup attempted to turn left in front of him, according to a bulletin from the Washington State Patrol.

The motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of the 1990 Toyota pickup driven by Robin Reiman, 61, of Battle Ground, the bulletin said.

Isham suffered abrasions on his arms and legs and was taken to the medical center.

Reiman, with a sore back, was taken to another hospital. His condition was not available.

Reiman was ticketed for alleged failure to yield the right of way, the bulletin said.

Police blocked the road to make sure other drivers didn’t crash into the accident scene.
