The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In April, the Nursing Assistant Program granted the application of Denis A. Nikiforyan and placed his registration on probation for two years. He was convicted of theft on more than one occasion and minor in possession on more than one occasion. He must comply with terms and conditions set against his registration.

In May, the Nursing Commission summarily suspended the license of registered nurse Dale Robert Schell. Schell voluntarily surrendered his license to practice nursing to the Oregon State Board of Nursing; he remains prohibited from practicing there.
