Meet Ruben and Ziggy. Ruben is a 7-year-old Pomeranian mix; Ziggy is an 8-year-old terrier mix. Ruben and Ziggy came to the shelter when their owner couldn’t afford to take care of them anymore. They can be a little shy, so they would be happier in a home with kids older than age 6 and no kitties.
Momma Kitty came to the shelter when her family could no longer take care of her. Momma Kitty can be very independent, so she will need a home with children older than the age of 10. She can be a little shy and nervous but warms up quickly. Momma Kitty loves attention and will need to be the only cat in her new home.
These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver.
