Curly is a 3-year-old Selkirk Rex. He came to the shelter when his owner was no longer able to care for him. Curly is declawed so he will need to be an indoor-only kitty. We think Curly would do well in a home with children over the age of 6 since he doesn’t like to be held for long periods of time. Ask an adoption counselor how to make Curly a part of your family today.

Snoop is a 10-year-old beagle. He’s an older guy who would love a home where he can just curl up next to you and relax. Snoop would like to meet any kids older than 6 that he may be living with, and he would love to go to a home with a fenced yard. He’s a beagle who loves to follow his nose! Think you have the home for this guy to live out his golden years? Ask the adoptions staff how to adopt him today.

These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver. Fees — which can include registered microchip, health exam, a spay or neuter certificate and vaccination — vary. Call 360-693-4746.
