n American Building Community seeks a volunteer to call local construction and service businesses to ask for help with Hands of Hope. Hands of Hope is a nonprofit project, helping needy families repair their homes.

n Columbia River Mental Health Services urgently needs clerical help from 3 to 5 p.m. Fridays.

n Impact NW is looking for people with money-managing skills to assist low-income seniors and other at-risk adults who have no one to help them.

n Catholic Community Services seeks volunteers to drive clients to medical appointments or the store; lend a hand with housework; do minor household repairs; help with reading and writing; cut firewood; assist with moving; and help with personal care.

n The Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge will hold tree plantings along Gee Creek to create forest habitat for wildlife. Plant native willows, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Carty Unit, 28908 N.W.
