Cannon, who grew up dancing at this studio, which her mother founded, is now 28 years old and back in the area, performing in this month’s run of the musical “Wicked” at the Keller Auditorium in Portland.

A firefighter from Fire District 6 puts out a field fire under the fireworks display at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds. The fire wasn't unexpected and the fire department was already on hand but the fire marshal ended the fireworks show early to 'err on the side of safety.' No one was injured and no buildings were damaged.
