Online Access Questions
Yes, if you want unlimited access. There is a limited amount of articles allowed for free every 30-day period.
The newspaper business cannot succeed without the support of paying subscribers. Your subscription helps with the costs associated with creating content every day. The Columbian has been telling Clark County’s stories for more than 100 years. We hope to tell them for the next 100 years!
We have advertising on our website just like we do in our newspaper. Like paid subscriptions, advertising helps cover costs to gather and present high-quality news.

This means you are not logged into the website. You can do so at columbian.com/login.
No. In fact, access to our website and app are included as part of your subscription. To connect your subscription to your online account, you can go to columbian.com/login to register.
You’re on the register screen, but since your account is already registered you need to make sure you’re on the Login screen not the register screen.
Yes, but you can only have one username and password, they will need to use your email address and password to log in.
Your username will need to be updated by one of our customer service reps. You can do so by calling our customer service line or by email. You can see all contact information and hours on columbian.com/contact.
On the login page there is a forgot password link. Click on that and follow the instructions.
If you do not receive an email after 3-5 minutes, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received the reset email, you can reach out to one of our customer service reps and they can set a default password for you.
Yes you can access the ePaper on any device. If you are on a PC or desktop, log into our website. If you are on a mobile device like a phone or tablet, you can also log into the website or download our app.
Use the app on your mobile device instead of the website.
Go to your device’s App store and search for The Columbian. It’s the app with the blue “C”. If you have any questions about the app you can view our answers here or contact app@columbian.com.
If you are no longer seeing emails, please check your junk mail and email folders. If our emails are in your junk mail, move it to your inbox and save our email in your contacts as safe. If you did not find the email at all, please contact our customer service team. Details can be found here
Newspaper & Delivery Questions
The Columbian prints Tuesday - Saturday and the ePaper posted online Monday - Saturday. The Monday edition is online only. The Saturday edition covers both Saturday & Sunday news.
Your paper will be delivered by the postal service with your regular mail delivery. In most areas you will get your paper the same day it is published.
A missed paper can be reported on the website in your online account on the “Feedback” form or contact customer service.
If your paper is missed, you can view the ePaper on our website at epaper.columbian.com.
Your subscription will be extended for a missed day.
Our offices are not open to the public. However, as a subscriber, you can access news as it happens on columbian.com or access today’s paper & news on the website or app. If you are not a subscriber, we have plenty of single copy racks around town (view locations here) or you can purchase a subscription here.
If our phones are off for the day you can leave a message or send an email to circulation@columbian.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
If your subscription is not set up with autopay, your subscription will continue upon expiration, and you will be billed for all copies delivered unless you specify otherwise.
You can set up autopay on the subscriber dashboard in your account or call our customer service line.
If you would like your papers saved and delivered when you return you will need to contact the post office to temporarily hold you mail.
If you would like to have no papers sent while you are on vacation you can put the paper on stop using the dashboard on line, call customer service or email us. After hours you can also use the automated voicemail.
You can still donate your papers to Newspapers in using any of the above ways.
News Questions
Log into The Columbian to access the ePaper and select the archive icon. The ePaper on the website goes back to 2020 and the app goes back one month.
Newspaper archives dating back to 1890-2011 are available through a subscription to the newspapers.com archive service. Click here to explore and view your options. Archives are also available on microfilm in the downtown Vancouver library: 901 C St, Vancouver, WA 98660
