Summer will take today off.

The National Weather Service says heavy clouds with sprinkles of raindrops will linger well into the afternoon.

Once it clears, the high is likely to be only about 71 degrees. Summer will be back tomorrow, but we should be under the influence of our natural air conditioning -- the Pacific Ocean -- for the next few days. Highs won't be much above 80 degrees.
