Officials found a missing 52-year-old Ridgefield man’s body last week after days of searching in the water near the Ridgefield Marina.

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Darren Silver of Ridgefield. His cause and manner of death are still pending.

A Ridgefield spokeswoman said police are waiting for more information from the medical examiner’s office before determining if foul play is suspected.

Silver was reportedly last seen Feb. 6, and the search team discovered his body Feb. 14.

He was living at the marina, and officers learned of evidence that indicated that was likely his last location, Ridgefield spokeswoman Megan DeMoss said in an email to The Columbian.

The Port of Ridgefield Boat Launch was closed Feb. 13 and reopened Feb. 15, according to Facebook posts.
