A woman reported missing last week by the Vancouver Police Department was found dead in Castle Rock.
Foul play is not believed to be a factor in the death of 75-year-old Patricia Marie McVay, the police department said Monday.
The Castle Rock resident was last seen Feb. 26, but she was not reported as missing until a social worker noted her absence from medical appointments on March 11.
Her car was found March 16 at a motel near Vancouver Mall. Her death was reported Monday.
The Cowlitz County Medical Examiner’s Office will be determining McVay’s cause and manner of death.
