The state Department of Health’s mass vaccinations site at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds will reopen Tuesday after closing this weekend.

Shipment delays across the U.S. due to weather led the state to close its four sites, including at the fairgrounds near Ridgefield, according to a news release. Most Pfizer vaccine shipments are not expected to arrive until Monday, and Moderna expects to deliver its backlog no later than Wednesday.

While some of the other sites will experience additional delays next week, the site near Ridgefield has enough vaccine supply to open Tuesday, the state said. If it receives its allocation before Wednesday, the site will be fully operational next week and prioritize second doses.

Those who were vaccinated at the site should have received an email from Safeway following their first dose, according to the state. Those who were unable to get a second dose appointment or confirmation email can bring their vaccination cards and identification to the fairgrounds, and staff on site will honor it.

Since the state opened the vaccination sites Jan. 26, 50,362 people have received vaccinations. That includes 14,327 in Ridgefield, the most of any of the state’s four sites.
