The Community Foundation for Southwest Washington will grant more than $900,000 to local nonprofits this year. The foundation’s focus is on projects and programs that interrupt the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
Last year, the foundation awarded $726,432 in grants through its discretionary programs, including $542,040 to Clark County nonprofits, according to a news release from the organization. That money went to Vancouver Public Schools’ Family Community Resource Centers and a collaborative project between Bridgeview Housing and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington, for instance.
Applications for its first granting cycle are due Friday. For more information, visit cfsww.org/nonprofits/grant-programs or email grants@cfsww.org. Grant awards will be announced in June.
