Realtors donate to charities supporting low-income families

Esther Short — Windermere Realty Trust supported 43 charitable organizations throughout Southwest Washington and Oregon in 2017 through the Windermere Foundation. More than $405,000 was given to charities supporting low-income children and families, $139.480 of which went to nonprofits in Southwest Washington, including the Children’s Justice Center and Council for the Homeless. “We are proud that Windermere brokers contribute their time, effort and individual funding to provide opportunities to children and families who have had inordinate struggles,” said Joan Allen, Windermere Realty Trust co-owner and co-chair of the Windermere Foundation local chapter.
