Weekly vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, will continue through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian spring sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week period ending March 25.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

ANNA AGUON, UNION SOFTBALL: Aguon went 12 for 13 with 7 runs and 5 RBI in four games for Titans.

DAMON CASETTA-STUBBS, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN BASEBALL: Junior went 4 for 8 with double, triple, home run and threw 5 shutout innings in pair of wins for Knights.

EMMA JENKINS, CAMAS GIRLS TRACK: Jenkins won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the Tiger Invite, both with top-3 seasonal marks in the Class 4A.

CONNOR JENSEN, SKYVIEW BOYS TRACK: Jensen won the shot put and discus at the Tiger Invite and set the school record of 59-6 in the shot put.

MAX VASKO, HERITAGE BOYS SOCCER: Vasak had a hat trick in a win over Hudson’s Bay for the unbeaten Timberwolves.
