Mechatronics program to provide job training

Vancouver – Clark College will host a free information session about its mechatronics program next week.

The session is at 6 p.m. Thursday at Clark College’s Columbia Tech Center campus, 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.

WorkSource is offering participants who live outside Vancouver city limits financial support to cover entry-level training. Contact WorkSource Career Coach Jacob Miller at jamiller@esd.wa.gov or 360-735-5084. Those who complete the program can move on to beginning level jobs or the associate’s degree program at Clark College.

Mechatronics is a growing field that involves troubleshooting mechanical equipment.
