Walnut Grove — Three groups donated some much needed items to Furry Friends during the holiday season: Henry Schein Animal Health in Vancouver, Companion Pet Clinic in Salmon Creek and Tanika and Mike Campbell, who hold a pet food drive every year. Henry Schein selects an animal shelter each year as the recipient of the center’s annual donations, and in December, donated $150 in cash and many other items to Furry Friends. Companion Pet Clinic has hosted a Giving Tree for Furry Friends for the last three Christmases, and this holiday season, were able to deliver a number of items from the Furry Friends wish list, which included pet food and cleaning supplies. The annual Campbell food drive brought in more items from the shelter’s wish list and another $150. To learn more about Furry Friends or to donate, visit www.furryfriendswa.org.
