PORTLAND — Deputies are investigating the death of an adult male whose body was found in the Willamette River near Portland’s Broadway Bridge.
The body was spotted Thursday morning by a passer-by on the shore.
River Patrol deputies with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and Portland Fire Bureau personnel went to the scene and recovered the body.
The body will be turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The sheriff’s office is conducting the investigation.
