City officials are set to discuss a proposed hotel and office space development in east Vancouver, at the corner of S.E. 123rd Avenue and Fifth Street.

There, Portland-based developers PBS Engineering and Environmental, Inc. aim to build a four-story, 87-room hotel and a three-story, 15,000-square-foot office building.

The 2.56-acre property is owned by Sorg Hospitality LLC, of Battle Ground, which is registered to Alkesh Patel, who has 11 other companies registered in Washington, according to the Secretary of State office.

Officials will discuss whether to grant a conditional-use permit to start construction. The hearing will be held 6 p.m. Dec. 8 at Vancouver City Hall, 415 W. Sixth St.
