Nominees for the Week 11 fall sports prep athlete of the week

Weekly vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian fall sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 12.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian. This is the final vote of the fall season.

SARENA BARTLEY, RIDGEFIELD VOLLEYBALL: Bartley averaged 21 kills and 7 assists as the Spudders placed sixth at the 2A state tournament.

MADDIE KEMP, CAMAS GIRLS SOCCER: Kemp scored four goals in two games as the Papermakers reached the 4A state semifinals.

ZOE MCBRIDE, PRAIRIE VOLLEYBALL: McBride averaged 16 kills and 12 digs as the Falcons placed seventh in the 3A state tournament.

ELLE NESBITT, WOODLAND VOLLEYBALL: Nesbitt averaged 34 assists and 10 digs as the Beavers placed second at the 2A state tournament.

KARA NOFTSKER, COLUMBIA RIVER GIRLS SWIMMING: Noftsker placed second in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle as swam on two placing relays at the 2A state meet.
