A 70-year-old man was pulled from his vehicle and hospitalized following a crash Tuesday morning on Manley Road northwest of Battle Ground.

Law enforcement and ambulances responded around 10:30 a.m. at 25400 N.E. Manley Road to a report of a vehicle crash.

Clark County Fire & Rescue Division Chief Tim Dawdy said the man was traveling south on Manley Road when he struck a pickup, and firefighters had to cut and pry him from the wreckage before he could be transported by ambulance, with lights and sirens on, to a hospital.

The pickup driver was not hospitalized, Dawdy said.

More information about either driver was unavailable. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
