WOODLAND — The Woodland City Council was expected to hire Peter Boyce as the first permanent city administrator Monday night.
Boyce, who was most previously the city administrator for Gladstone, Ore., would start effective immediately.
The city council voted in November to create a new position for a city administrator, who would be in charge of day-to-day management of city business. Dennis Richards has been the interim city administrator.
Boyce was one of four finalists for the position interviewed April 20, and after meeting him, Woodland Mayor Will Finn recommended the hiring.
