Vancouver – Gov. Jay Inslee has appointed Narek Daniyelyan, a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree at Washington State University Vancouver, as the student member of the WSU board of regents for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Daniyelyan’s appointment starts July 1 and ends June 30, 2017.
After obtaining an associate’s degree from Clark College, Daniyelyan graduated from WSU Vancouver in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development.
He is educational partnerships manager at Clark College.
Daniyelyan’s student leadership positions include being elected vice president of the Associated Students of WSU Vancouver.
