Tyrus Hosley scored 20 points as the Plainsmen’s pressure proved too much for La Center.
“Their speed and quickness got to us in the third quarter when they ran away from us,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said.
Evergreen led 29-17 at halftime, but opened a 52-29 advantage after three quarters.
Dalton Morgan led La Center with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Matt Baher added eight points and nine rebounds.
The Wildcats made only 2 of 27 3-point attempts.
Greg Washington added 14 points for Evergreen.
