Boys basketball: Washougal 57, Hockinson 45

Collin Prangley scored 18 points and Brody Oberg 11 as the Panthers won their fourth game in a row and created a three-way tie for first place in the 2A GSHL.

Prangley scored 12 points in the first half, and Oberg had eight of his 11 in the fourth quarter including two key 3-pointers.

Hockinson built an early 9-3 lead, but Washougal recovered thanks to solid defense and controlling the rebounds.

Washougal (7-5) is tied with Woodland and Mark Morris at 3-1 atop the 2A GSHL.
