Thomas Sowell’s Dec. 29 opinion column that “2015 will be remembered as the year of the big lie” boils down to Hillary Clinton didn’t get it right on who perpetrated Benghazi. I think Sowell is getting senile. That said, his column is about as dumb as they get. To put this drivel in the paper is ridiculous.
What was Iraq but a “big lie?”
The Benghazi probe, after eight separate investigations wasting millions of dollars, found nothing. I am sure now the Republican right will point to the sage Sowell as an excuse to keep advancing these useless talking points. I am waiting for media to stand up and ask real questions of Sowell and his Republicans. For example, why isn’t George W. Bush investigated for Iraq, or Dick Cheney, etc.?
It is amazing how many thousands Republicans can kill needlessly without comment or investigation and Democrats get investigated for the deaths of four people, eight times.
