Boys basketball: La Center 69, Melbourne Magic 62

Jake Wise had 24 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Wildcats to the win over an Australian team on holiday.

Hunter Ecklund added 19 points with four assists and four steals for La Center.

The Magic have already played games in the Seattle area. They are expected to take in an NBA game in Portland on Tuesday, then return north for another game.
