The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a missing child, 12-year-old Rodrigo Alexander Quintanilla.

The police said he ran away from his Delaware Lane home in Vancouver Heights early Friday.

Rodrigo is a 5-foot-2, 120-pound Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair.

Police asked for help from the public Friday, but said today that they would like to get the word out again because the boy still hasn’t been found.

They asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911.

Police said Rodrigo was spotted Sunday night in a retail store in the Northeast Portland area, and he was alone. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki pants and a gray-and-black Columbia jacket. He was carrying a multicolored backpack, police said.

Police said the boy might try to seek shelter in retail stores, fast-food restaurants or other public places.
