WOODLAND — The Port of Woodland this year upgraded lighting at the Down River Drive Industrial Park in a move to save money.
With a cost of $24,000, the move will save port tenants $15,000 a year and $300,000 over the life of the upgrades, the port said in a release Thursday.
The six-building business park is also undergoing a face-lift with new painting and landscaping projects.
“Though we are 100 percent occupied at Down River Drive, it provides the level of expectation at our upcoming industrial parks: Guild Road Industrial Park I and II,” the port’s executive director, Jennifer Keene, said in a release.
