PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Officials say customers who have ordered photos from Costco in the last year may be at risk as their website was hacked.
KPTV-TV reports that Costco told customers their online photo center was hacked sometime between June 2014 and July 2015, and that email addresses, physical addresses and passwords have been compromised.
Officials say some credit card numbers entered into the site were taken as well.
Costco officials are telling customers to change their passwords for all online accounts, not just the photo center website. The company says they will pay for one year of identity protection for their photo center customers after the breach.
The hack was only for the photo center website, not Costco.com.
