The investigation into the cause of the fire that destroyed three floating homes Sunday night at Kadow’s Marina along the Columbia River remains inconclusive, deputy Clark County Fire Marshal Sue Anderson said Thursday.
The fire was reported around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the marina, off Lower River Road, and burned part of the pier. It also left two nearby homes with smoke and heat damage. No one was hurt.
Anderson said investigators with insurance companies will review the area next week, and that might reveal more about what happened.
She said previously that investigators had ruled out criminal activity.
