Battle Ground police are asking for help identifying a man who broke into a Battle Ground frozen yogurt shop Wednesday.

The police said the man came to the door of Yo Factory, off Main Street east of Highway 503 in Battle Ground, just after 5 a.m. The man forced his way through the door with a red- or orange-handled screwdriver, then made his way to the business office.

Police described the man as about 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to 195 pounds, and wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt under a green jacket, and blue jeans and blue Nike shoes.

Police said it was unclear if he arrived on foot or in a vehicle. Battle Ground police are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact Sgt. Chris Crouch at 360-342-5256 or leave an anonymous tip at www.cityofbg.org/tips.
