Letter: Choice remains with women

By Ron Pulliam, Ridgefield

Terrance Popravak Jr.’s cry in his Sept. 11 letter “How can anyone just stand by?” against population control and equal rights (legalized abortion) informs me that he has never pruned a tree, pulled a weed or stepped on a spider. A true man of nature in harmony with all life. Does he really think the rest of us want to follow him back to the jungle, where killing becomes a main tool of survival? Don’t get me wrong; I am not a big proponent of abortion. But that is easy for me to say; I’m a male.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
