People in business

• The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce selected three new members to the organization’s 2015-2016 board of directors.

Steve Webb, Vancouver School District superintendent, has a 31-year career in public education in Washington and California. He also serves on boards for the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools, the Rotary Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington and the Washington State University Vancouver Advisory Council.

Lisa Goecke has been employed with Perkins & Co. since 1990 and has been in public accounting since 1986. She is a board member of the Columbia River Economic Development Council.

Amy O’Hara is co-owner of When the Shoe Fits, which she founded in 2004 and expanded into a four-store chain.

• Columbia Credit Union has added two registered representatives to its wealth management department who will assist members with financial planning, investment and insurance services.

Spencer French, who has more than 20 years in sales, has experience working with national investment firms responsible for private banking and customer service. He will serve Columbia’s members at the Fourth Plain branch and by appointment at the Orchards and Salmon Creek branches.

Tim Reichstein will serve members at the Hazel Dell branch and by appointment at the Ridgefield branch. He previously worked as a financial adviser at a national investment firm selling stock, mutual funds and insurance products.

• Banfield Pet Hospital has named Anne Murphy chief information officer and senior vice president of information technology. She brings more than 30 years of business operations and technology experience to Banfield, most recently as vice president of support and operations at Target.

• The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has selected Patty Mason to its board of directors. Mason has been the manager of Salmon Creek Family Medicine, a Legacy Medical Group primary clinic, for the past eight years. She is also a former patient access manager at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.

New Businesses

The Lumber Yard, a baseball and softball training facility, will celebrate its new facility at 4212 N.E. Minnehaha St. with a grand opening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 19. The event will include hot dogs and drinks, tours of the facility, and free use of the swing cages. Operating hours will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
