Bagley Downs — The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington received a $1,500 grant from Re/Max Equity Group Foundation, which will help cover costs for the children’s dental program. “The children treated in the dental van often have multiple cavities and many have been living with tooth pain for some time,” Carolyn Noack, dental program manager at the Free Clinic, said in a release from the organization. “Their dental health is poor, because they have not seen a dentist regularly, and their parents may not be aware of preventative methods.” The clinic has a dental van two chairs, a waiting area and storage for supplies, and offers preventative and restorative health services for uninsured children in Clark County.
