A Vancouver woman was taken to the hospital after her car rear-ended a pickup on Interstate 205 southbound Wednesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Rebecca L. Ramsey, 30, was driving south on the interstate approaching Southeast 10th Street around 8:30 a.m. when her Nissan Altima struck the rear of a Dodge Ram pickup driven by 32-year-old John P. Krause of Vancouver, according to the State Patrol.

Ramsey was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for treatment. Krause was unhurt and able to drive his truck from the scene, the State Patrol said. The hospital said Ramsey was treated and released.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The State Patrol said Ramsey was cited for speeding.
